We are looking for a dynamic and organized Operations Manager to oversee strategic and day-to-day operations in the city of Punda.
As a people-centered leader, you will strengthen local community ties, grow active memberships, and ensure seamless coordination of events and office functions.
Key Responsibilities
Community Building & Membership Growth
- Develop and implement strategies to foster local engagement and deepen connections within the community.
- Increase active membership by launching community-centered initiatives and programs.
- Represent the organization as a passionate ambassador for the mission and values.
- Collaborate with marketing and events teams to design impactful workshops and campaigns.
City Operations Management
- Lead daily operations in Punda, focusing on aligning activities to organizational goals.
- Monitor and optimize performance metrics and operational processes.
- Oversee budget planning, expense tracking, and resource allocation to ensure fiscal responsibility.
Team Leadership
- Manage, support, and inspire the Office Manager and Event Manager to achieve excellence.
- Cultivate a culture of accountability, collaboration, and community focus within the team.
- Coordinate with other departments to streamline city-wide initiatives.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Establish and nurture partnerships with local businesses, organizations, and municipal contacts to amplify community impact.
- Represent the organization at key local meetings, events, and stakeholder sessions.
Requirements
Experience Requirements
- Educational background: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Administration, Urban Development, Community Management, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years in operations management: Experience in fields such as urban development, nonprofit organizations, city-level logistics, or membership-driven entities is highly preferred.
- Community Engagement Expertise: Proven experience in designing and implementing community outreach initiatives and fostering strong local partnerships
- Leadership Track Record: Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage organizational transitions during growth phases, and inspire team members to achieve goals.
- Event Planning Background: Prior involvement in overseeing or organizing large-scale community events or workshops are advantageous.
- Familiarity with membership-based organizations and experience in recruiting and retaining members, launching programs, or increasing participation is preferred.
- Connection to Punda or similar communities: Understanding the social and economic dynamics of Punda is highly advantageous for effective decision-making.
